Johnny Hernandez
Head Coach & Defensive Coordinator

Coach Johnny Hernandez was born and raised in New York.  He played lacrosse as a defenseman on Long Island at Division Avenue High School for Sean Smith who coached at Army and later for Hofstra University.  Coach Hernandez continued his lacrosse career at NYIT for Hall of Fame Coach Jack Kaley, where he was part of the '94 team that went to the Division II National Championship. He moved to Wellington, Florida in 1999, currently resides in Royal Palm Beach with his wife Tammy and their two children Justin and Gabrielle.  He joined the Wellington Community High School Boy's Lacrosse coaching staff as the Defensive coordinator in 2011, and with Coach Joe Calby has led Wellington to four District Titles.  In 2016, Coach Hernandez was named Head Coach of Wellington High School, leading the Wolverines to the District Championship Game in his first season as head coach. 




Dave Blouin
Offensive Coordinator

 Coach Dave was born and raised in Baltimore, MD starting lacrosse at a young age. He played collegiate lacrosse at Salisbury University.  In 2004, he started the Boys Lacrosse Rec Program at Village Park in Wellington.  From 2005 - 2008, Coach Dave led the Lady Wolverines to 3 State Final Four appearances. In 2006 & 2008, he was named Head Coach for the US Lacrosse Girls Southeast National Team. From 2010 - 2013 Coach Dave was named Defensive Coordinator at Palm Beach Central HS Boy's Lacrosse Team, who won District Championships in 2010 and 2011. In 2014, he was named Offensive Coordinator for Wellington HS, who won FHSAA District Championships in 2014 & 2015.
